At Pelican Inn in Pelican Alaska you won’t only be closest to the fish, but Larry and Vicki will undoubtedly give you something other guides probably won’t.
An experience of a lifetime!
We traveled to Pelican Alaska in a group of four. Our trip started out a little unpromising when our travel obstacles had us arriving in Pelican a day behind schedule. We worried about missing out on some of our fishing time. As soon as we stepped off the plane Larry and Vicki were determined to put our travel woes behind us and start providing us with the experience we had come for.
We settled in to the Inn while Larry prepared our licenses and we were out the door and on the boat within 45 minutes. As soon as our fishing adventures began, we started out with a bang: fighting off the King Salmon and hitting our daily limit very quickly. Turns out arriving late didn’t put a damper into our fishing one bit and it was easily proven by the full ice chest we had.
Over the next few days we hit our limits in King Salmon and Larry treated us to his Halibut honey hole. We even got a little trout fishing in after hitting our limits daily.
And if the fishing didn’t make the trip we were also indulged with the wildlife. Larry guided us in spotting whales, bald eagles, sea lions, bears, and otters. You can’t go wrong choosing Larry and Vicki at the Pelican Inn. They exceeded all of our expectations as guides and hosts. From the all-day fishing and full ice chests to the exquisite home cooked dinners.
We went into Pelican with Larry Jarrett as our fishing Captain and Guide; but we left with great friends and another fishing buddy.
